Asap Connect Cable + Tip
About Asap Connect Cable + Tip
What makes ASAP Connect better than other magnetic cables/adaptors in the market?
There are many features, though the most important is that we are the first to incorporate our patent-pending magnetic connector technology and as our magnets are positioned at the exterior of both the cable and connector tip it will always connect easily. We are also the first to incorporate 18k gold platted connectors that have been are laboratory tested to last at least 38,000 connections.
Can the magnets damage my phone in any way?
No, we have completed months of laboratory and field testing to ensure the magnetic field does not interfere with the phone in any way.
How strong is the magnetic connection?
We've designed ASAP Connect to be strong enough to lift an iPhone 6 Plus so the magnetic strength is considerably strong so that it won't disconnect unless fair force is applied.
Is it easy to remove the tip from the phone?
The tip will stay in place from any general daily use even if the phone is dropped, yet it can be easily removed with just your fingers when needed.
What is the length of the cable?
The length of all ASAP Connect cables is 1.2m (3.94ft). You can purchase additional cables that are a longer 1.5m (4.92ft) for $15 on the Backerkit survey.
Does ASAP Connect support data transfer for Apple and Android devices?
Yes, this also includes tethering.
Can I plug ASAP Connect into my laptop, computer, car charger or power bank?
ASAP Connect is compatible with everything your existing USB cable is, so it will work with all devices that are USB compatible.
Will ASAP Connect affect the charging speed?
ASAP Connect will not alter any device's charging speed and can handle the maximum charging speed for mobile phones.
Can I connect a MicroUSB cable with an Alpha tip or vice versa?
No, ASAP Connect's different device versions are not cross compatible due to their unique connector prong configurations. This means a cable designed for Apple will not work with an Android tip and vice versa.
Why have you not chosen to use the original lightning connector or have MFi certification?
Apple has not released a magnetic lightning connector, hence it is not possible to apply for MFi certification and by producing a lightning connector that is not MFi certified, it leaves that company open to legal action by Apple. Any company claiming to have a MFi magnetic connector is not possible as of July 2015. You can ask the company for a PPID number from Apple as proof.
Does ASAP Connect support QC2.0 or QC3.0?
ASAP Connect will support up to 5V/2.4Amps, which is more than most cables available, but it will not support the maximum speeds of Qualcomm Quick Charge technology due to the 5V limit of the LED light. We have tested our cable with a QC2.0 charger and charge speeds are 10% slower from 0 - 50% battery power, and exactly the same speed from 50% - 100% battery power.
Micro Drone 3.0 Combo Box
About Micro Drone 3.0 Combo Pack
What is the flight time for Micro Drone 3.0? How long does it take to recharge the battery?
Eight minutes of continuous flying can be achieved without the camera attached. After attaching the accessories, flight time is around six minutes, and using the expansion pack and camera flight time is seven minutes due to additional lifting power. Recharge time on the batteries is up to an hour for full charge.
Does Micro Drone 3.0 only stream video or can it also record?
Micro Drone 3.0 can both stream video to a smartphone/tablet as well as record onto an onboard Micro SD memory card.
How loud is Micro Drone 3.0 in flight?
We are using high grade endurance motors which are the quietest available (the same coreless motors used for vibrating smartphones). Feedback from Micro Drone 2.0 has been that users really liked how quiet they were (this model was not much louder than a whisper in flight), Micro Drone 3.0 has bigger motors which are a bit louder. We will produce a video to give you an example.
Does Micro Drone 3.0 fly autonomously and have a ‘follow me’ feature?
We find this technology very interesting, but so far outside of the lab this is a long way off. In 2013, we built prototypes that used sonar and IR sensors to fly autonomously, however due to outside variables this didn’t add much stability. We are focused on making the drone more automatic using reliable sensors that make the drone easier to control.
Can the camera module take photos? What is the resolution of the HD camera module?
The camera module can take both photos and video. The photo resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels and image file size for each photo is typically between 30KB and 100KB. The video is shot in 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) and its recording rate is approximately 100MB/s.
What formats are the video and photos?
The video records as MOV format with an H.264 codec and a frame rate of 25fps with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 14.6 Mbps bitrate. There is also a Microphone and the audio codec is PCM with 128Kbps bitrate and CBR bitrate mode. The photos it takes are JPEG format with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and lossy compression mode.
How will Micro Drone link video with my smartphone/tablet?
Micro Drone 3.0 becomes a WiFi access point that your smartphone/tablet tethers to over a secure connection. Once this connection is established our app will be able to automatically configure and display the video stream coming from the drone to your smartphone/tablet.
What is the range on Micro Drone 3.0?
With its dual control, Micro Drone 3.0 can be flown using either our professional 2.4 GHz remote control or a smartphone/tablet over WiFi. With the 2.4 GHz Remote Control the range is 500ft (~150m). The camera module will be able to record video to an onboard Micro SD memory card up to this distance. Live streaming to your smartphone/tablet can be made up to 150ft.
What happens when the battery runs low on Micro Drone 3.0?
We have designed an early warning indicator where the onboard LEDs flash rapidly when there is less than 30 seconds of remaining flight time.
Are the protective bumpers shipping with Micro Drone 3.0?
Yes, these are included in the set.
Will it be possible eventually to have a 1080p resolution camera for Micro Drone 3.0?
Yes! We designed modules to snap on with magnets which means we will be able to offer a wide selection of cameras (Fish Eye Lens, 1080p, Analog FPV, Night Vision and more). Camera technology is getting lighter, more advanced and users will be able to continuously upgrade the modules without having to change the Drone.
About Nuheara IQbuds
What are IQbuds' safe decibel levels?
With IQbuds, the beauty is that you get to set the decibel level the way you want. Determining safe decibel threshold levels depend on time & exposure, but because of how we treat noise, you will have less need to turn the music/audio up loud.
Can IQbuds be used on a plane?
The IQbuds make use of bluetooth wireless technology and can be used on aircrafts. Third party bluetooth dongles can be used to stream audio from the aircraft entertainment system to the IQbuds. Additionally, external noise can be reduced using the SINC and LIVE EQ features
What Bluetooth functions does IQbuds provide?
You can stream music over Bluetooth from your device such as an iPhone or Android phone. You can make phone calls over Bluetooth with your mobile device. You can use the IQbuds app to setup gain levels and frequency curves using IQvolume and Personal Profile settings in the app.
The wireless bluetooth link uses power. If you are not connected over Bluetooth, the battery life of IQbuds will be longer since the wireless Bluetooth link is not active.
You can use IQbuds without a bluetooth link, but we recommend to personalize IQbuds to your preferences using the IQbuds App beforehand.
Do IQbuds have a bluetooth delay?
The IQbuds have very minimal delay over the bluetooth connection, and it is not noticeable when communicating over a phone or listening to music.
Note: Bluetooth delay is noticeable when watching videos over third party dongles.
Can IQbuds be adjusted for specific frequencies?
It is not possible to adjust the amplification at specific frequencies, but the overall volume of left and right IQbudsTM can be adjusted.
Below 1KHz, there is a setting (setting 2) that provides some low frequency boost. Above 1KHz, there are three settings (3, 4 and 5) that provide boost in the high frequencies.
Why do you have to pair the App as well as the IQbuds on Apple devices?
IQbuds feature an unusual double pairing because we combine audio streaming capabilities (like a tradional bluetooth classic headset) with App data control ( like a bluetooth Smart fitness tracker). The double pairing is only required on iOS/Apple, however the next App update will remove the double pairing and only require pairing your IQbuds.
The double pairing is needed so the App can "talk" to the buds. You can pair the IQbuds with any device without the App using a single pairing.
- There is no audio processing on the phone, it is processed in the IQbuds.
- All settings are stored in the IQbuds and not the phone.
- The App is simply the interface to set and control the IQbuds.
- We have extended some of this control up to the IQbuds via tap touch so the phone does not have to be taken out all the time to answer calls, toggle locations, ask Siri, stop/start music etc.
How many decibels do IQbuds block?
It blocks approximately 14dB of passive attenuation.
How many decibels can IQbuds amplify sound?
IQbuds can deliver an additional 12dB of gain depending on the settings. It can also deliver up to 30dB of attenuation. (12dB + and 30dB -)
Additional frequency dependent gain can also be achieved using the personal profile settings (selections 1 to 5).

Are the batteries safe from fire?
While no Lithium Ion battery can be said to be 100% immune from overheating, the "exploding" Samsung battery is 3,500mAh while the batteries in our iQbuds are only 100mAh. Since heat generation is directly connected to the amount of storage power, the battery in the Samsung generates 350 times more powerful and generates that much more heat. That being the case, it makes a similar occurrence with iQbudsTM highly unlikely.
Can you adjust the volume on each side independently?
Yes, Nuheara IQbudsTM will allow you to adjust your settings for each side.
What is the battery life of Nuheara IQbuds?

Unfortunately, Spendwallet does not support payments at gas station or ATM. This is why we placed a backside cardslot on Spendwallet for you to carry an ATM card or an emergency card.
How is it possible to make payment everywhere?
When you bring Spendwallet near to the card reader, our self-developed Magnetic Flux Emulation (MFE) technology generates a magnetic field which makes the card reader respond as if a card was swiped. Hence, Spendwallet can be used anywhere that accepts magnetic card payment.
How is Spendwallet different from all-in-one smart cards?
Spendwallet works better. We’ve tested all available smart cards in the market and concluded that using rewritable magnetic stripe cannot guarantee 100% reliability due to technological limitations. Some retailers require EMV chip payments. Will Spendwallet support EMV?
We have been preparing for the EMV shift since early this year. We are currently in talk with banks and card issuers to support EMV on Spendwallet using tokenized MFE. We will try our best to support this feature and once it works out, we will provide a software update as soon as it is ready. After the update, you will be able to use Spendwallet with no problem on chip requiring terminals.

How can I maintain Spendwallet's security without turning on Bluetooth on my phone?
If you prefer to turn off Bluetooth, you can choose to use passcode authentication before each transaction for security. It is also possible to turn off the security function.
What is passcode and how do I set it up?
Passcode is a security measure put in place for you to safely protect your card information. As the passcode is set with the left, right, and SPEND button on the mobile application, this passcode can be identically used on Spendwallet.
What if I forget the passcode?
When you forget the passcode, you can reset your passcode on your mobile application after verifying your identity.

To overlay vehicle specific data directly to your video, you’ll need to sync & pair the Waylens OBD Transmitter. Your camera’s Wifi and bluetooth should be turned on when using the OBD Transmitter. Please note, that while the Horizon camera has three 3-axis accelerometers built directly inside, the OBD-II Transmitter captures, RPM, MAF, MPH, Engine Temp., as well as Boost (when applicable).
Troubleshooting Card Errors
The Waylens Horizon camera gives users a “Card Slow” or “Card Error” message once the microSD card has detected bad blocks. This message doesn’t necessarily mean that your card is bad or unusable, but the errors prevent the card from writing data at the required speed, which makes it unstable for loop recording. Unlike other camera systems, this warning message allows you to backup footage before potential data loss or card failure. To backup your footage, copy the MicroSD card contents to your computer or import the footage into Waylens Studio. If you want to reuse the same microSD card, try formatting it from the camera settings menu, click storage, then format. If the problem persists, make sure your microSD card write speed is compatible with the recording quality setting in the camera’s Video menu.
